It was always a thrill to find them, be they from antique shops and fairs or massive flea markets or village vide-greniers or neighbourhood brocantes in Paris and many other regions of France.
Each object encompasses an adventure or journey to come upon it and many were found with their own stories told to me.
[I have quoted the prices in Euros, Canadian and US dollars, now at par]
